Agreement and services
These Terms and Conditions apply to hausofherstudios.com and to every session booked with Haus of Her Studios, operated by Heather Cox Photography LLC ("Haus of Her," "we," "us"), in Midland, Texas. By booking, paying a deposit, or using our website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Haus of Her provides boudoir photography sessions. Depending on your booking, a session may include a preparation guide and questionnaire, professional hair and makeup, access to our client closet, guided posing, and a private image reveal. The exact inclusions are those stated in your booking confirmation or promotion.
You must be 18 or older to book or take part in a session.
Your signed Boudoir Session Agreement governs your session. If anything on this page conflicts with your signed agreement, your agreement controls.
Booking, fees, and collections
• Retainer. A non-refundable, non-transferable retainer reserves your session date. Your date is not held until the retainer is paid and your agreement is signed.
• Collection pre-purchase. Every client pre-purchases a photography collection. Investment begins at $2,500. The session fee does not include digital files; all products and digital images are purchased separately.
• Payment due date. Your full balance is due by the date in your agreement, and no later than 7 days before your session. If it is not paid, your session is cancelled without refund.
• Pre-session payment plans. Payments can be drafted automatically weekly, twice a month, or monthly. There are no late fees. After 30 days of missed payments, the plan is cancelled and the balance is due in full at your Image Reveal & Ordering appointment. After 30 days of failed payments with no communication, your project is cancelled and payments made are non-refundable. Payment plans are not offered after the session.
• Spending your balance. Your full pre-session balance must be used at your Image Reveal & Ordering appointment. Unused funds are forfeited and are not refunded or credited.
• Added items. You may add items to your agreement at current pricing. Items cannot be removed once your agreement is signed.
• Bonuses. Bonuses, where offered, are only for clients pre-purchasing a collection and must be chosen at least 14 days before your session. If a bonus becomes unavailable, you may choose another on the day of your session.
• Returned payments and chargebacks. Returned (NSF) payments carry a $100 fee, and editing pauses until the balance clears. Chargebacks will be referred to collections and may be pursued in small claims court.
• Promotions. Promotional offers apply only to the campaign, dates, and eligibility stated in that offer. They cannot be applied to existing bookings, combined, or transferred unless stated.
• Taxes and final sale. Applicable sales tax is added. All sales are final and all payments are non-refundable.
Rescheduling and cancellations
• Rescheduling. If you reschedule as allowed in your agreement, your session fee and pre-session payments transfer to the new date, as long as it falls within 6 months.
• Cancellations by you. Cancellations must be made in writing. All money paid toward your session fee and payment plan is forfeited and cannot be used as studio credit or transferred to another session or person. You will receive no images or products.
• Late arrival. If you are more than 15 minutes late for hair and makeup or your session, the session may be cancelled without refund.
• Cancellations by us. If we must cancel because of a medical or family emergency, severe weather, road closures, or similar events, you will receive a full session credit to use within 3 months.
Your session
• Time. A full session requires about 5 hours. If you cannot give the full time, we may not be able to complete your session.
• Preparation. Please complete your questionnaire and review your preparation guide. Tell us about any allergies or skin sensitivities before hair and makeup.
• No spray tans. Please do not spray tan before your session; it cannot be corrected in editing. We may decline to photograph skin that appears orange, or extra editing fees and delays may apply.
• Movement. Sessions involve posing and some physical activity, including sets such as the wet set or swing. Please talk with us before booking if an injury or condition could affect you.
• Your comfort. You choose your level of nudity. Tell us at any time if a pose or outfit doesn't feel right.
• Client closet. Wardrobe pieces are used at your own discretion during your session only. Sizes, colors, and styles vary, and items seen on social media may not be available.
• Artistic direction. We have full artistic direction over the session and may decline specific outfits, props, or setups for technical or artistic reasons.
• Respectful environment. We may end a session without refund for illegal, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.
• Guests. For privacy, guests are allowed only if approved in advance.
Your images and products
• Image Reveal & Ordering. Your reveal appointment is your one opportunity to purchase images. We select the best images for viewing; additional files are not available.
• Deletion. Unpurchased images are deleted 30 days after your ordering appointment. Purchased images are deleted 30 days after your products are picked up. Deleted images cannot be recovered, so please back up your files once you receive them.
• Albums. We design album layouts. Photos and layout must be finalized within 7 days of your session, or current pricing and a $100 fee may apply. Revisions after you approve the design are $100.
• Products. Albums and products are paid in full before production. Please collect products within 7 days of notice that they are ready. Report manufacturer defects within 7 days of pickup; damage from handling is not covered.
• Editing. Images are edited in our studio style. Additional editing requests may cost extra and are at our discretion.
• Copyright. Haus of Her owns the copyright in all session images. Purchased images come with rights to print and share them online for personal use.
• Sharing your images. Please do not alter, filter, or crop your images, and credit Haus of Her whenever you post them. You may not sell your images or submit them to any publication without our written consent.
• Our use of your images. We never use your images in marketing, on social media, or on our website without your written permission.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Limitation of liability
We take great care with your images. If image files are lost, damaged, or corrupted for reasons beyond our control, our liability is limited to a reshoot within 30 days. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for results limited by venue rules, lighting, or weather, or for outside vendors we recommend. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Website use
All content on hausofherstudios.com, including images, text, and logos, belongs to Haus of Her and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Midland County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to your session.
